Waco Based Franchising Company Sold To Investor Group

KXXV News Channel 25:

One of the world’s largest franchising companies based in Waco has sold.

The Dwyer Group, valued at $150 million, provides a variety of service-based franchises like Mr. Electric, Mr. Rooter, and Rainbow International. They also own and operate 37 full-service glass stores in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

It is sold to a New York based group of investors TZP Capital Partners, a private equity fund.

“We’re extremely excited to welcome The Dwyer Group to the TZP family and become involved with a group of franchisees and associates dedicated to a unique Code of Values,” said Sam Katz, managing partner of TZP Group LLC.
