Mary Kay Gives Out Another Pink Caddy

SeacoastOnline.com:

When Sondra Weaver received recognition from her employer, it would suffice to say she was tickled pink, or at least her car was. Weaver was just given a major award by employer Mary Kay, and it’s not going to be terribly difficult to spot.

The bright pink 2011 Cadillac SRX is a reward for Weaver, a Mary Kay independent sales consultant from York, Maine, whose sales group has posted earnings of more than $96,000 over a two-month span. As a result, the on-the-go Weaver received the keys to her new vehicle at Holloway Buick GMC Cadillac on a frigid Thursday afternoon.

“She worked hard for this one,” said Windol Weaver, her husband and a member of the Maine House.

Sondra credited the hard work of the rest of her sales group in large part for her honor, which is coming in her 34th year with Mary Kay. She said that because sales professionals cover so much ground, it’s possible to earn a new car every two years, which she has done 17 times at a job she says she still enjoys tremendously.

“I just love it. I love the people and helping them feel good about themselves,” she said.
