A business woman in Napanee, Canada is bringing a chapter of Power of Women Exchange (POWE) to her community. This organization offers business women across Canada an opportunity to network, reports The Napanee Guide.
POWE, Dickerson explained, is a well-known women’s networking group that has chapters in several large cities across Canada. She says the groups hold regular monthly meetings and several other informal events throughout the month. They’re all designed to allow female business owners to meet and mingle and advertise their businesses.
“We believe in building relationships,” Dickerson said. “It’s a great venue for women in business to develop their businesses in a relaxed atmosphere.”
Dickerson says she’s been thrilled with the amount of feedback she’s received on the initiative, simply by spreading the idea on her own.
