Sailormen Inc., the largest domestic franchisee of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurants, is sponsoring a campaign to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Appetite for a Cure program runs from Feb. 1 through March 20 at participating restaurants in the franchisee’s seven-state, 143-unit portfolio.
Throughout the campaign, Popeyes’ restaurants will sell coupon cards worth $30 for $1. Funds raised will go toward the MDA’s worldwide research and services programs. Additionally, money also will help send area children with neuromuscular diseases to MDA summer camp for a week.
Sailormen Inc. CEO Bob Berg said coupon card sales offer a double benefit.
