US-based hotel franchisor America’s Best Franchising (ABF), plans to launch in India by introducing 3 Palms brand in the country via franchise route. The company has signed Mumbai-based SRM Spa and Resorts as the master licensee of 3 Palms brand in India, which will franchise seven 3 Palms hotels in India over the next eight years. The properties are to open in six Indian states of Maharashtra, Goa, Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. The first properties are scheduled to open in 2012.
The company finds plenty scope for the 3 Palms hotels and resorts in India to position the franchisor as a three or four-star category property to cater to the inadequate hospitality market like India.
