Private Investigation Firm Franchises Business Nationwide

Pittsburgh Post Gazette:

Louis Gentile spent much of his career in high-ranking law enforcement jobs for the state and federal governments. But after running his own private investigations business, Gentile-Meinert & Associates, for more than a decade, he decided his name, while widely known in the criminal justice network, might not carry much value for future generations of his family who expect to keep the company going.

So nearly three years ago, he changed the firm’s name to CSI Corporate Security and Investigations, and started to explore growing the operation through franchising.

Last month, the Beaver County-based company opened franchises in Atlanta and Denver; it already owns franchises in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio.
