The Domino’s Pizza restaurant in Anderson has opened for business again, days after its franchisee closed the store and 20 others that it owned in Indiana.
“It’s not a new operator yet, but 16 of the 21 stores have reopened,†Domino’s spokesman Tim McIntyre said Monday. “They’ve reopened under what we’re calling a management agreement with a person we can’t name yet, but a person who’s working to negotiate the purchase of the 16 stores.â€
McIntyre said the operator is an experienced Domino’s franchisee who expected to reach franchise agreements with the pizza company by the end of the month.
