Host A Party For Free Through HouseParty.com

Daily Press:

Kasey Steele, of Newport News, loves to host parties — as long as they’re free.

She’s one of thousands who has discovered HouseParty.com, a marketing company drives buzz about products by having consumers interact with it. In other words, companies will let you try their products for free if you promise to share the experience with others.

So far, Steele has hosted three parties through HouseParty.com including a Domino’s pizza party, a Tombstone pizza party and a Philadelphia Cooking Creme party. She was given everything she needed to host a party for about 10 people, including coupons and vouchers to purchase food. In return, she promised to take pictures and upload them to the HouseParty.com website.

In order to be considered as a hostess, you must sign up at the website and fill out a survey for the brand. At any given time, about a dozen party options are available. Party spots are limited, so not everyone who applies will be eligible to host. Steele says she has applied for about 30 parties and was accepted to host four.
