Batercard Signs Up New Victorian Franchisee

Franchising.net.au:

Batercard has established its first start-up franchise in four years in Melbourne Central – the latest stage in the business’s push for a foothold in Australia’s corporate sector.

In its website, Bartercard describes its business model as one where SMEs and corporate Australia can convert their “idle capacity into usable goods and services. This idle capacity can include downtime within labour based and professional services industries, additional machinery capacity for manufacturers and excess, slow moving or end-of-run stock for the wholesale or retail industries.”

Bartercard’s new franchisee is Manuel Fernandez and his top priorities in his new role will be customer service, sales expertise and training. He is also keen to become more involved in the local community.
