Stream Energy, the world’s largest network marketer of energy, continues its phenomenal growth, with the announcement that the firm’s marketing arm Ignite ranks 14th internationally on the recent list of the Top 100 Direct Selling Companies in the World in Direct Selling News, moving up from last year’s ranking of 16th.
Stream Energy has two distinctions in the Top 100 list – within the Top 15, it is the only company that was established since 1985 and the only company whose success has been created solely based on sales in the domestic U.S. marketplace.
Stream Energy’s growth has been supported recently through the firm’s expansion to the Pennsylvania and Maryland electricity markets, signing up more than 75,000 new customers in approximately eight months in the new service areas.

The dramatic growth of Stream Energy and the continued success of its Ignite direct sales marketing force have propelled the company to more than $2 billion in total sales since its founding in 2005. Stream Energy generated more than $840 million in revenues in 2010 and has more than 484,000 customers in the deregulated energy markets of four states (Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Maryland).
