Starbucks Bistro Box Chicken Recalled

Huffington Post:

Starbucks has hit a road bump in its new line of healthy Bistro Box meals just a week after launching. Food Safety News reports that Starbucks has recalled the chicken used in the Chicken Hummus and Chicken Chipotle Wrap Bistro Boxes in Georgia and Alabama. The meat was apparently contaminated with listeria, but no illnesses have yet been reported.

The company released a statement saying that all the tainted chicken had been removed from stores.

Strangely, this isn’t the first listeria contamination at a Georgia factory this summer. A month ago, Kellogg’s discovered traces of the potentially lethal bacteria in a Famous Amos and Keebler’s factory in Augusta.
