Even though Brad Rintoul of Aberdeen frequently rents from Redbox and has a Netflix account, he still enjoys renting from traditional video stores such as Videoland.
“Redbox usually doesn’t have the new releases, and Netflix just doesn’t have a lot of the movies I look for,” Rintoul said.
Rintoul, who was recently renting a movie at Videoland with Nikki Volk of Aberdeen, said he still likes renting from stores like Videoland because of its great selection of movies.
Despite the advent of new technologies for video rental, traditional video rental stores in Aberdeen such as Videoland, a privately owned video store, and Blockbuster, owned by a franchisee, are still open for business. Read more.
