Coffee franchise, Hudsons Coffee, has lent a helping hand to students from NSW’s Corowa High School, teaching them some tricks of the trade for the coffee shop they’ve set up on school grounds.
The year 11 students, who are studying retail operations, legal and business studies, travelled to Melbourne this week to attend an information session hosted by Hudsons, where they participated in a customer service workshop and listened to presentations from Hudson’s different support office departments including training and development and franchising and marketing.
The students’ coffee shop is named Cafe Diem and they are responsible for all aspects of running the business, operating the coffee shop once a week for senior students and staff and focusing on customer service, book keeping, pricing and rostering.
