Four Fantastic Sams stores in the Chattanooga area are now corporate-owned after being family-owned for 30 years. The change means more jobs, expanded hours and a new mission for the company, leaders said.
“It’s already added jobs to the region,†Martha Clemence, district manager for Fantastic Sams, said. “When we took over [last October], we had approximately 12 to 15 stylists in four stores. Right now, we’ve got close to 30 stylists. We’ve almost doubled the staffing.â€
Chattanooga Judge David Bales had been the franchisee of the four Fantastic Sams locations in the region—in Ooltewah, Hixson, East Ridge and Fort Oglethorpe—but “decided to retire†from the business, Clemence said. Read on.
