Cafe2U Names Its Franchise Partner Of The Year Winner

The Scottish Franchise Magazine:

The franchise owner of Cafe2U Aberdeen West has been named the Cafe2U Franchise Partner of 2011.

Laura Macrae had a superb 2011 as her Aberdeen West location achieved record sales and was highly commended at the Beverage Standards Awards. Macrae was extremely happy to be recognised for the quality of her work, she said: “I continually check that the coffee I am serving is of the best standard and sometimes I can re-calibrate my coffee grinder 10 times a day. I love my work and I am really lucky to be supported by my wonderful husband Stuart – it is so important to have the backing of your family when you start your own business.”

Macrae received the award at the Cafe2U National Leadership Conference, which also recognised the achievements of several other franchise owners including Antonio Petrosino, who owns a London location and won Supreme Bean for the best performing newcomer; and Lance Hill, of Cafe2U Cardiff Central & Docks who was awarded Barista of the Year.

Macrae was also named as one of the Top Performers of the Year, which was also won by Gary and Rachel Wilson, who own the Bristol North location; Faye Cochrane, owner of the Edinburgh franchise; and Tim Shaw, who owns Reading West.
