Sport Clips Haircuts On Target To Hit Second “Billion Dollars” In Haircuts By 2014

abc27.com:

Sport Clips Haircuts is on target to hit its second “billion dollars” in haircuts by 2014, says the franchise’s Founder and CEO Gordon Logan. Sport Clips is the nation’s leading men’s and boys’ hair care provider with more than 880 stores in 39 states. Logan told the company’s “National Huddle” gathering this week that it took 18 years to reach the first billion dollars in haircuts in 2011, but cited record store openings and sales, along with no store closures last year and continual improvements at all levels, as reasons Sport Clips will reach its second billion-dollar landmark in just three years. In addition, Logan outlined what he calls the “BHAG” (big hairy ambitious goals) before the record attendance of 1,600 franchisees, area developers, managers, stylists, and support team members at the Disney Orlando Swan and Dolphin Convention Center.

Logan also shared that the company will soon celebrate the opening of its 900th store and has plans to have 1,000 stores open by the end of 2012.
