Chantilly Senior Receives Scholarship From McDonald’s Franchisee

On Monday, May 14, Van Management gave a $1,200 scholarship to a Chantilly High School senior, Corinne Cardinal. The scholarship funded Cardinal’s participation in the 2012 DECA International Career Development Conference, which took place in Salt Lake City, April 28 – May 1, 2012.

Van Management, Inc. is a local McDonald’s restaurant management company run by a family of franchisees, the Van Valkenburgs.

Cardinal and five other Chantilly High School students who competed at the DECA Conference were eligible for the scholarship.
