The UK’s most respected published survey on the state of the franchise industry, was released earlier this month. The report, commissioned by the British Franchise Association and NatWest, indicates a continued growth in franchising despite the economic climate.
Most notable is the fact that for the first time since 2007, the number of loss making franchisees fell below 10% showing that on average, over 9 out of 10 franchisees trading during the last year were trading profitably. This is a great testament to the many UK franchisors who work hard to provide and support robust, proven franchise systems for their franchisees, and also to the quality of franchising in the UK.
