Barry Srebnick, a CPA by trade, gave a great deal of thought to various business opportunities before choosing Great Clips, which he recently opened at 24-11 Fair Lawn Ave. in Fair Lawn.
Ultimately, the decision came down to a simple truth.
“People,” said Srebnick, “always need haircuts.”
Salons and barbershops, he thought, are “reasonably recession-proof,” and the strong corporate support of the Great Clips franchise only added to its appeal. The franchise has more than 3,000 salons in the United States and Canada, employing nearly 30,000 stylists. Read more.
