Partners Roger Daniel and Andrew Hayashidu celebrated the opening of Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes at 2695 King Ave. W. in Billings, last week. It is the first in the state, but more are planned according to Daniel, who owns the franchise for Montana and Wyoming.
Daniel said he traveled the country trying out different restaurants – Mooyah Burgers were the best. The growing franchise chain reflects a trend in “burger joints.” It’s part of the “fast casual movement,” said Danial. “People are getting more picky about their food,” said Daniel, “They don’t want to pay the high ticket prices, but they don’t want to give up convenience either.”
Daniel decided that Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes was right for Billings because there is nothing like else like it anywhere in Montana. Daniel plans to change that as fast as he can as he pursues expanding his franchise rights throughout Montana and Wyoming over the next seven years.
