The Lockitron is a smart controller that allows you to lock or unlock your door with your phone. It isn’t a door lock itself, instead, it is a device that fits over the top of the deadbolt on the inside of the door. It doesn’t damage your door, so renters can use it too.
Not only does it let you lock and unlock your door with your cellphone from anywhere in the world, it will also:
- Lock and unlock itself as you walk through it (depending on your cellphone)
- Notify you if someone unlocks or locks the door, even with a key
- Notify you if someone knocks on the door!
