Dressed in a pink shirt, pink sweatpants, pink socks and pink glasses, Greta Johnson isn’t the typical worm farmer. Nonetheless, the 12-year-old has found an unusual way to make extra cash.
Aluminum wash bins and plastic containers filled with topsoil take up a corner of the basement in her rural Frederic, Wis., home.
“This is where the magic happens,” she said.
While her peers babysit or help mom and dad for some allowance money, Greta may be one of the youngest business owners around.
