For entrepreneurs who have always wanted to launch a retail shop, the Downtown Sacramento Partnership is running a contest gives the winner free rent for a year.
The best retail business idea will get shop space either on the 800 block of J Street or a space in Downtown Plaza, said Valerie Mamone-Werder, business recruitment and retention manager with the Downtown Sacramento Partnership.
The prizes include:
