Modern Cloth Diaper Invention

KATC Lafayette News:

A Lafayette mom is presenting her invention on ABC’s “Shark Tank” this week. She invented a modern cloth diaper that’s *not* heavy on the pocket book, or the diaper. Thirteen years ago, Tereson Dupuy came up with the idea for “FuzziBunz” when her infant son kept getting diaper rashes. She tried diaper after diaper, but nothing worked.

“I then put a piece of polar fleece in between his diaper and skin. Within 24 hours his skin was dry and his rash was gone. That was my a-ha moment,” said Dupuy.

Since then, Dupuy’s business has expanded. FuzziBunz are sold at 350 retail stores across the nation. Dupuy says, moms are attracted to the product because the diapers are reusable, more absorbent, and affordable.

“You save over $2500 on your diaper bill because you only need 12 FuzziBunz in your diaper career and they’re one size fits all,” said Dupuy.
