Pet Wants Seeking Animal Lovers to Expand Franchise

Pet care is a lucrative industry. In fact, Americans spend roughly $58 billion on their pets each year. Pet Wants, a Cincinnati-based business that provides fresh, all-natural pet food options, is cashing in by offering franchise opportunities for the right individuals. The first franchise was recently sold in Lexington, Ky. and already operating.

Pet Wants owner Michele Hobbs launched the company in 2010 to provide proprietary crafted, fresh, slow-cooked, all-natural pet food delivered to customers through a retail store and a convenient, home-delivery service.

Hobbs reached out to Franchise Funding Group in late 2014 to help her grow her small business and turn it into a national franchise company.

Franchise Funding Group provided Pet Wants with more than $150,000 in services, hundreds of hours in training and support, project funding, and marketing expertise for a minority stake in the new franchise system. They also function as the company’s ongoing strategic advisers and partners.
