About the Franchise

Orangetheory Fitness is a one-of-a-kind, group personal training workout broken into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training. Backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), Orangetheory’s heart-rate-monitored training is designed to maintain a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Led by skilled personal trainers, participants use a variety of equipment including treadmills, rowing machines, TRX suspension training and free weights, burning an average of 900 calories including after-burn. The result is the Orange Effect — more energy, visible toning and extra calorie burn for up to 36 hours post-workout.

Initial Fee: $32,500 to $39,500

Orangetheory Fitness will refund 50% of the initial fee if it terminates the Franchise Agreement (for your first franchise) based on your failure to satisfactorily complete the initial training program. You and your owners must sign a general release in order to receive a refund.

Orangetheory Fitness provides initial training at no charge for up to 3 owners (individuals), but you must arrange and pay for all travel and living expenses for the people who attend the initial training program.

Three Months’ Rent: $18,000 to $45,000

If you do not own suitable commercial space, the premises must be purchased or leased. Orangetheory Fitness anticipates that most franchisees will lease the premises. Orangetheory Fitness requires a commercial space of 2,600 to 3,400 square feet of interior space. The cost of leasing or purchasing space will vary, depending on location and other market factors, and cannot be accurately projected by Orangetheory Fitness; as a result, the costs shown above may be low or high.

Leasehold Improvements and Construction Costs: $75,000 to $250,000

Construction costs vary depending upon numerous factors, including the size and configuration of the premises and the cost of materials and labor for construction.

Fitness Equipment Maintenance Contract (3 months): $
