Hi! I'm Dane Carlson, and welcome to the Business Opportunities Weblog. I've been publishing this website, by myself, and sometimes with the help of others for over twelve years now. You'll notice two things about this site right away:

  • We have tons of content. In fact, since November 2011, I've published more than 26,000 posts on thousands of different business ideas and opportunities.
  • We don't sell much advertising. In late 2013, I realized that by selling advertising, what I was really selling was my readers. In 2014, I've already radically cut down on the number of ads and will hopefully keep cutting.

Raising kids to be design-minded and eco-conscious isn’t always easy, but Fast Company has put together some products that kids will love just as much as adults.

Skip Hop’s Wishbone bike is eco-friendly and practical–this recycled-plastic and sustainable-wood 3-in-1 bike goes from three-wheels to two with a quick switch, and also adjusts its height for a growing kid.

Kids love building forts. Kids love cardboard boxes. Voila–a cardboard Teepee from Ecocentric.

Part of Plan Toys’ eco line, this dollhouse is equipped with a wind turbine, solar panels on the roof, a shade canopy, recycling bins, and a complete furniture set for your eco-conscious dolls to live in.

The Metal Speedcar Racer from Design Within Reach is modeled after a classic speedster.
