Mary Kay has announced Operation Sunblock, a project to send sun protecting cosmetics to American troops overseas.
The company is asking for $20 donations to finance care packages including Mary Kay sunblock, replenishing gel and SPF 15 lip balm.
“I know how I have felt in the last 10 days with the temperatures soaring up to 100, and we can stay inside in air conditioning,†a representative for Mary Kay said. “Our troops have to be ready all the time and they do have to have some kind of sun protection.â€
