So Guys Can Be Guys

WNDU.com:

For years, women have gathered at each other’s homes to hear pitches about make-up and to get free gifts. Some may recognize these as Avon, or Mary Kay parties.

A similar trend is now catching on with men in the form of “the man cave.”

There are certain rules in the man cave. “No man shall ever turn down free beer, for any reason, never, ever, seriously, never,” said one fan of the man cave.

The man cave is also about breaking certain rules. “Eat it with your fingers, you know, whatever, talk with your mouth full,” explained Adam Fleming, founder of the Goshen chapter of Man Cave.

Man cave is a business, similar to the likes of Mary Kay or Avon. Here men are selling a product line, to men.

Adam Fleming, and a few friends turned business partners, are making some cash through Man Cave.

“We got a bunch of different rubs, marinades and sauces,” said Fleming.

And if the catalogue doesn’t offer what you’re looking for, and if the garage, full of brats doesn’t do it for you, either, the advice is free.

“You just gotta major on the meat and minor on the lettuce.” This is after all a “meating.”
