Owner of Southern Colorado Home Décor and Gift Manufacturer Launches Direct Selling Venture

PR Web:

As Danielson surveyed the sales distribution landscape earlier this year, it became readily apparent to her that souring economic conditions required a new tack for her current home décor manufacturing business. After doing some initial research, it didn’t take long for Danielson to realize that she had the perfect product for a direct-to-consumer approach, and once she discovered the face-to-face nature of direct selling within the party plan concept, she was sold. “When I saw how passionate and supportive the women were who own a home-based direct selling business, I knew this is where I wanted to be,” said Danielson.

And the timing for a new party plan company launch couldn’t be better. According to the Direct Selling Association, in years in which the economy has experienced a recession in any part of the year, direct sales have grown. The period of 1987-2007 contains three recession years (1990, 1991, 2001). In all three of these years, direct sales grew more than the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) did. Two of these years, 1990 and 1991, saw inflation-adjusted direct sales growth in excess of 5 percent. By launching on Friday, October 1st, Rendi not only looks to take advantage of the current economic downturn, but also hopes to take full advantage of the upcoming peak gift-giving time of the year.

Rendi, which means “you make” in Italian, brings to the direct selling industry for the first time U.S.A.-made, customizable gift and home décor products designed by nationally-acclaimed artists. All of Rendi’s custom creations are made in Trinidad, Colorado, with planet friendly materials, and every item is shipped out the door in 48 hours. Combine all of this with Rendi’s internet-leading customization website, RendiStyle.com, (to go live as well on October 1st) and an aggressive compensation plan, and Danielson believes she has all of the ingredients for the perfect income opportunity.

“I’m so excited about Rendi and how it’s going to change women’s lives for the better,” said Danielson. “When I started my first company, I created a cottage painting program in which women could be creative, work from home, and earn a paycheck. Rendi brings that full circle and can now offer the same opportunity to women across the country.” In Danielson’s opinion, the greatest opportunity may be to join now in the company’s formative months. This is the time when new distributors, or Stylists, will be eligible to gain membership to the Rendi Founder’s Club. Growing a new team may also come easier as the concept is introduced for the first time around the nation.
