Freebirds World Burrito has signed a new, local company as its first franchisee and several of the restaurants are planned for the area, including one in Mission.
FB Midwest Development LLCâ€™s agreement calls for 27 locations. It has signed a lease for the new Mission Crossing, now under construction at 61st Street and Metcalf Avenue, and is looking at other area sites, as well as locations in Columbia, Lawrence, Wichita, and Omaha.
