Entrepreneur, 21, Turns Mother’s Lounge Into Shop

Daily Mail:

When Jacob Porter-Jones found himself struggling to get a job he decided to open up his own clothing shop – in his mother’s front room.

The 21-year-old entrepreneur convinced his mother Nicky to halve the size of her sitting room so he could set up his business selling mens designer clothes and style books.

A sign outside the three-storey house is the only thing which gives any indication that the ordinary house in Poole is the home of the Journeyman Union shop.

Customers have to walk through the front door and turn left in the hallway to enter Jacob’s novel shop where an alcove closed off by a wooden shutter provides the changing room and Jacob uses a laptop computer, a credit card machine and a petty box for his till.
