Medfield Twice Rejected Dunkin’ Franchisee For Downtown Location

The group seeking to open a Dunkin’ Donuts franchise at the former Medfield Friendly’s location — the corner of Routes 109 and 27 — twice before tried and failed to open a coffee shop less than a block away, a Medfield Press search of public records has indicated.

In 2002 and again in 2004, DLT Family Limited Partnership applied to the Board of Appeals to open a Dunkin’ Donuts at 530 Main St., the location of what is now the Noon Hill Grill, according to town documents.
