One independent company is not only encouraging women to be more handy, but it is also providing a way for buyers to help fund breast cancer awareness and education.
Tomboy Tools provides a large selection of tools and novelty items designed especially for women and adorned in pink to help build confidence and empower women to take home projects into their own hands.
Items include socket sets, paint brushes, work gloves, drills, tool belts, tool boxes, gardening necessities, auto items and more. Customers can shop online or host a tool party with a local consultant.
Not only do the tools help women become more independent and handy, a portion of the total funds from sold tools is donated to the Avon Foundation for Women Breast Cancer Crusade, which has raised and donated more than $700 million to breast cancer programs around the world.
The foundation helps fund awareness and education efforts, including support services, screening, diagnosis and research.
