According to the Consumer Expenditure Midyear Update from Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the average American household’s restaurant spending has increased to the point at which it last was in 2008. According to the study, restaurants account for more than 5% of the average household’s spending.

This can only be good news for the restuarant business and for those that sell things to restaurants.
