Menchie’s, a self-service frozen-yogurt store, has opened in Ward Warehouse in a 1,500-square-foot location next to Executive Chef.
The California franchise features 16 different yogurt flavors, including noncarb and nonsugar varieties for health-conscious customers. There are many as 50 toppings, ranging from fruit to mochi. Items are priced by weight at 43 cents per ounce.
The franchise is owned by Erica Miyabara and Kelly Hiraki, who returned to Hawaii recently after graduating from college in California.
