Hilton Expands In Russia Via Franchising

According to a report published by the Allgemeine Hotel- und Gaststättenzeitung (AGHZ), the first Hilton Garden Inn has been opened up in Russia in the City of Perm.

The new hotel is being operated as a franchise hotel by the Hilton Hotel Corporation and the Hotels of Ural Ltd.
Information in the report reveals that the new hotel has 102 rooms with Garden Sleep System beds and chairs designed by the well-known designer, Herman Miller.

The hotel is the second hotel in Russia belonging to the Hilton family of brands. A further Russian ‘Doubletree by Hilton’ hotel is expected to open its doors to the public next year.

The US Hilton hotel group has more than 3,000 hotels across the world with a total of over 500,000 rooms.

The hotels are run either by the company itself or are franchise operated. More than 900 hotels are currently being planned or built in Europe, the USA and Asia.
