As a franchise, Masala Bowl Indian Café is an Indian fast casual restaurant concept that serves a wide variety of authentic, flavorful Indian dishes at a great value without compromising taste.

Their menu includes the World Famous Biryani as well as the highly popular “Signature 7 Curries” that they boast. Also on the menu are wraps and Masala Tacos together with Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Kebab and Masala Fish Filet, as are family meals and a Kids Menu. The Plano Masala Bowl is the fourth of its kind to be opened in the US and the first in Texas.

The first was opened in Tustin three years ago, followed by the Irvine Masala Bowl which opened its doors in 2007. Chino Hills, which is next door to Diamond Bar, was chosen as a favorable location for the third location in 2008 and also happens to be the Corporate and training store. On being asked by the Mayor and other members of the Chamber that why Plano was chosen in Texas, Marzi Mody, Executive Vice President of Masala Bowl responded “Plano is the most desirable city to live in and also it is surrounded by new developing areas and it has a very good mix of ethnic as well as mainstream clientele”.
