Famous Dave’s of America, Inc. President and CEO Christopher O’Donnell today announced that Famous Dave’s newest award-winning BBQ restaurant has opened in Times Square in New York City. The restaurant is located on 47th St. between 6th and 7th Avenues, putting Famous Dave’s hickory smokers and down-home barbeque side-by-side with the bright lights and glitz of Broadway. Famous Dave’s has over 170 locations in 37 states, with the newest restaurant marking its Manhattan debut.

Sammy Benmoha is the owner and operator of the new Famous Dave’s franchise in New York City. Mr. Benmoha owns and operates Maxie’s Delicatessen and, in partnership with his father Jacob, the Roxy Delicatessen. Both restaurants are located in the heart of Times Square. Sammy Benmoha, who has owned restaurants for more than 15 years, grew up in the restaurant business. His father Jacob, who also owns and operates BenAsh Delicatessen in Times Square, has a long history in the restaurant industry. More.
