Kids Kloset Honored As One Of The 2009 Indiana Companies To Watch

dBusinessNews Indianapolis:

Kids Kloset has been recognized as one of the 2009 Indiana Companies to Watch, an awards program presented by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, its Small Business Development Center network, Purdue University and the Edward Lowe Foundation.

Fifty companies from Indiana will be honored as outstanding second-stage companies during the second annual Indiana Companies to Watch awards program, held on Aug. 27 in Indianapolis. The awards program celebrates businesses that are past the startup phase and face issues of growth, not survival.

Among the 50 honored companies in 2009 is Kids Kloset. The children’s resale franchise opened its first store in 1999, and now has six retail locations. Kids Kloset has become a regional destination for cost-conscious parents.

Franchise Owner Kim Cassel credits the growth to a simple value proposition. “We have offer quality children’s goods and reduced prices. It’s a simple formula that is relatively immune to the economic pressures that affect other retail businesses.”

Kids Kloset is seeking potential franchisees who have a comfort level with financial and operational responsibilities, as well as a dedication to building a kid-friendly environment.
