Good Shepherd Lutheran College students have joined a quest to raise $200,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
For the month of August funds raised from the school’s weekly collection plates will go toward sponsoring Noosaville McDonald’s franchisee Mathew Grut and local GP Dr Ashley White on a 500km charity bike ride.
Mr Grut and Dr White, who each have children at the school, will join some 20 riders from across the state on the Ride for Sick Kids charity bike ride, set to head off from Dalby on Tuesday, August 18.
The convoy will travel through Toowoomba, Gatton, Kilcoy and Bribie Island before finishing at Brisbane’s Ronald McDonald House, Herston on Sunday, August 22.
