Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser To Support Education Of Local Youth

The Apple Gold Group, franchisee of Applebee’s restaurants in North Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, is proud to partner with Wake Forest Kiwanis Club to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, March 13, 2010. All proceeds raised will go toward purchasing dictionaries for Wake County 3rd grade students.

“Applebee’s continues to be an active leader and supporter of local youth organizations,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of Apple Gold Group. “We are excited to partner with Wake Forest Kiwanis Club and help enrich the lives of students in the community.”

The Wake Forest Kiwanis Club Flapjack Fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 11805 Retail Dr., Wake Forest, NC starting at 7:30 am. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by calling Cecil Shearon at (919) 624-4477. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
