Chesterfield Arms In Newbold Crowned Pub Of The Year

The Franchise Magazine:

The family run pub on Newbold Road, which is owned by Everards Brewery, received the accolade from the Chesterfield and District branch of CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale.

Landlord Oliver Brown, who runs the pub with his fiancée Jo, also picked up the award for Pub of the Season last year.

Oliver puts his success down to his enthusiasm for real ale and creating a pub that is part of the community. He said: “Our customers tell us how much they love the wide range of real ales we serve. At the weekend we have around 14 ales on and there is a new beer on nearly every day.

“We are really proud to be recognised for our achievements by CAMRA. We now go forward to the Derbyshire Pub of the Year contest.”
