Norwalk Reflector:
Area residents have another reason to stay in — stay in their cars that is.
Sonic, America’s Drive-In, a restaurant where you order your meal and eat right from the comfort of your own vehicle, opened its first drive-in in Sandusky.
“We are thrilled to open this drive-in in Sandusky,” said Kerry Dechant, franchisee of the Sandusky Sonic Drive-In. “We have been serving metro Cleveland since 2008 and look forward to continuing the unique Carhop service Sonic Drive-Ins are known for in this community.”
The Sandusky Sonic Drive-In, located at 5606 Milan Road, officially opened Friday, to serve customers.
With the full menu available all day, customers can enjoy a breakfast burrito to start their morning or as a late night snack. The new Sonic features 24 drive-in stalls, patio seating and a drive-thru. The Sandusky Sonic Drive-In’s regular hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to midnight daily.
Sonic has a total of five drive-ins in northern Ohio, including locations in Parma, Streetsboro, Massillon, Southgate and Oregon.
