Sport Clips wrapped up its largest “National Huddle” with over 1,200 in attendance at the franchise’s annual convention. During the meeting, Founder and CEO Gordon Logan shared plans for the guy-focused hair care provider’s continued U.S. expansion into the Northeastern U.S. and reviewed the previous year’s successes including same store sales growth of over 5 percent for each of the past two years.
Sport Clips now has 689 stores in 37 states across the country, and opened almost 50 percent of all franchised hair salons in the country last year. It was announced that the franchise’s Las Vegas market, which has six stores, will become company-owned and join Austin, Texas, as a second test market for new ideas and programs.
Outstanding individuals and performance were recognized during the “Huddle Awards” dinner at which former NFL star and Sport Clips Board Member Jay Novacek spoke.
