Culver’s Redevelopment Agreement Approved By Berwyn City Council

PR Newswire:

At the May 11, 2010 City Council meeting, the Berwyn City Council unanimously approved a redevelopment agreement with the franchisee of Culver’s to bring a new restaurant to the City’s Roosevelt Road corridor. Culver’s currently has 400 locations nationwide and the Berwyn location on Roosevelt Road will be the closest location to downtown Chicago.
Resident Alderman Nora Laureto stated enthusiastically that, “I’m so proud that Berwyn was able to land a restaurant that not only sells great food but also one that shares the hometown values that Berwyn is known for. I look forward to years of Culver’s being a true community partner.”

Culver’s is a privately owned and operated quick casual restaurant chain that operates primarily in the Midwestern United States. The first Culver’s opened in 1984 in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Since then, it has expanded across the country stretching from Kentucky and Ohio to Wyoming, and from Texas and Arizona to North Dakota. Culver’s has an expansive menu that features Culver’s trademark ButterBurgers and frozen custard.

The renaissance of Roosevelt Road continues and is already anchored by the original location of Buona Beef, Turano Bakery, Fitzgerald’s, and Wishbone.
