Twenty-four hour shopping has made its way to Maplewood. A new 7-Eleven store,
which opened its doors May 17th, celebrated its arrival with a Grand Opening on Saturday, July 17th. Located at 279 Parker Avenue, at the corner of Irvington Ave., the store is on the lot left vacant for some time by an unused gas station.
In attendance at the festivities were several hundred local residents, Mayor Vic DeLuca and Committeeman Jerry Ryan. During the three-hour opening, there were raffle giveaways, clowns, and a ribbon and cake cutting.
