franchisee Mick Caddy has topped a record pool of nominees to take out the National Franchisee of the Year award.
Mr Caddy said he was honoured and proud to win the award, presented at the Franchise Council of Australia’s industry awards in Queensland last week.
It is the first time a Mr Rental Franchisee has won the award, against competitors from large chains such as Bank of Queensland and Melbourne-based award-winning burger bar Grill’d.
It was the third year he had tried for the award.
Mr Caddy said the award was a credit to his Bunbury team and the strong franchise system and support provided by Mr Rental.
