The first drive-thru Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches
in Jacksonville will open at the intersection of J. Turner Butler Boulevard and Philips Highway, according to one of the franchise partners.
The 1,800-square-foot restaurant, which is expected to open Feb. 1, will employ about 20-25 people. The build-out is expected to cost $300,000-$350,000, including equipment.
This is the second Jimmy John’s for the franchisee Shotgun Subs LLC. The franchisee’s first Jimmy John’s, which is in San Marco, opened in April.
