Dunkin’ Donuts has reached an agreement with a new local franchisee to open 36 stores in southern Wisconsin, it said Tuesday in a news release.
The stores will be in Jefferson, Milwaukee, Waukesha, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha counties and will be owned by Milwaukee Coffee Brewing Co., a collaboration of six existing franchisees that together operate 370 stores on the East Coast.
There are currently four Dunkin’ Donuts stores in Milwaukee, each independently owned, said spokeswoman Jenna Kantrowitz.
